These were surprisingly delicious.
This is quite literally the most important thing you will eat in your whole life. If you have a Trader Joe’s near you, I suggest you go out and grab a tub right now.
COFFEE HAZELNUT COOKIES
Now comes the time when you all realize what a truly awful chef I am. I always try my best when I cook, but sometimes I’ll make a few elementary mistakes. Sometimes through laziness, but usually through ignorance and arrogance. Cookie arrogance. The recipe for these cookies is here. Try not to wreck them as thoroughly as I did. These will be the cookies I pass out to the people I don’t like at school.
Mmm, failure nuts. Smells like sadness and solitude.
This recipe calls for three delicious sticks of butter. Apparently, you’re supposed to cream them with the sugar.
I decided that I would just melt the butter and mix in sugar because screw you recipe you can’t tell me what to do.
Yeah, Emma. That looks completely okay.
I mixed the rest of the things. Honestly, that batter was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted. This picture is what I like to call, “The Beginning of the End.”
“Yeah things aren’t even going that bad yet these are gonna be the best cookies ever.”
“God dammit now I only have one cookie.”
They taste okay, I guess. I won’t be giving them to anyone important, though.
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Apparently, I make a mean chocolate chip cookie. Ladies. Also the recipe is here.
I first had to dissolve some brown sugar in a pool of delicious butter. I knew I was getting into something wonderful.
It was just as delicious as it looks. I didn’t inhale all of it, though. There were big things to do.
Like bake them.
